Check these out, from a distance they look like chamois, which are soft leather made from the skins of chamois, sheep, deer and cattle. In reality they are stalactites.

The Caves do become flooded from time to time and they are so cool, I mean cold but not cold enough to freeze you or make you too uncomfortable. The water you see has been sitting there for sometime, but it is crystal clear and clean.

This is one of those spaces that has no end, as you see it get darker toward the back of the picture, it is a continueous journey, it just keeps on going and branching off into other caverns.... So way far out...

Does this look like the look of FEAR???? You betcha, our tour guide was about to turn out the lights.... Natural (not man made) Total Darkness, what a feeling.... You couldn't even see your hand in front of your face, but what a time for 'reflection'. Where would we be if it were not for the hand of God bringing light into the world, through the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.... For in the Son/sun we find light, warmth, strength and growth.

This is one of the deep caverns that continues to be explored by those who are carrying on the work. You can't tell it by the picture, but this entrance extends back to, 'who knows where'?

More caricatures of creatures whose bones were found in as the first adventures in the Caves were explored.

Everywhere you look there is something interesting to see. Different formations, almost all unique in their own way and as one stands and gazes you can feel the awesome presence of God in the details. What we take for granted, the earth, has been formed in such a way that it mystifies and captures your attention at the care God has taken even in the smallest of details.

This stalagmite (formation from the ground up) they loving call "Buddha eating an icecream cone". If I had taken the picture for the another angle, you can really see why it was named such.

Yep, yep, yep, there we are listening intently to our tour guide.... She was a real kick and took to us really fast, might be because we were from California and had that streak of "HOW WAY COOL is this!" at every turn of our adventure...

Many of the formations were huge and seemed to cast an awesome feeling of the entire grandure of what detail God has created even within the earths belly.

Notice the ceiling how it looks like icicles, those are stalactites which have formed over an estimated thousands of years.
