Now these are happy faces.... faces that are enjoying everything that God has placed here for our pleasure....What a Mighty God we serve....

Whoda thunk to place some crazy looking rocks on the top of the next mountain??? Well, I think it was the Master Creator, what do you think? 

Rest stop.. Thats our 6'4" Cody being held up by his girlfriend who is just 5'.... One thing I have noticed about these Bishop born and raised little gals, they are strong, so you don't wanna mess with them... Mountain Women, thats it! She even twrilled around with holding him and then got dizzy and they fell down... No one hurt, just laid there laughing for quiet a while... We are at about 8500 feet at the top of this one particular mountain we stopped on.... Aint it beautiful..... 

Praise God, the man you see walking, Goofy's husband, was diagnosed with "Brittle Diabetes" at the age of 16 years old. Back then there was very little they could do for a diabetic and they told him he would not live to see 30, not be able to have children, not be able to have a normal life and they basically put him on a starvation diet to control the sugar levels. It was a bleek out look with no future. God has been merciful and God has been great in our lives.... This man is the father of our 6 wonderful children, the grandfather of 7 beautiful babies (so far) he is 54 years old, strong as an ox and has been pronounced dead more times than I want to remember. God has kept him alive and God is the only one, no man can claim credibility for bringing this man back from the dead, nor the fact that he is still alive, it is only through Jesus Christ as God the Son, that this man has all his limbs, a genius IQ and a heart of love that does not stop. WHOA, HOOAH, PRAISE GOD AND THANK YOU JESUS... ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS.... 

Yep, the kids insisted that one of them always be behind us going up the steep terrain....

Check it out, these are all Wood Pecker holes in this tree... It was so way cool.... 

A wildreness condo.... 

I couldn't believe the perfect shape these holes were pecked out in. We figured this must be one of their migrating stations as the whole tree was covered in Wood Pecker nests (holes). The tree itself was hallow.... 

We are about 8000 feet above sea level and it is so clear and just plain breath-taking (play on words there). 

Yep, that's me, Goofy, as usual..... Ready to rock and rollllll....  

Time out for fishing! This is a neat part of just having fun at your leisure, you can stop and do whatever you want, even take a nap..... Of course none of us took a nap, we were too stoaked to be tired.....

I believe the peek in the middle is Mount Tom, but not sure... All the "experts" (Goofy's kids) are out and about so I can't ask them... We will pretend for now that IT IS MOUNT TOM...

The beautiful Sierra Mountains, home of Mammoth Mountain Ski Resort. What a beautiful sight... 

If you look real close, you can see our two lead ATV's and their riders on the road below. There are so many switch backs and so many rocks, I don't know how they once brought a big Suburban Truck up here but they said it took hours... Crazy kids, they were all about 16 and 17 at the time and willing to try anything....
