Well, I blew it, as soon as I saw my son coming off the plane, all the emotions I had surpressed, but wasn't even aware of how much I had bottled up, came full blown like a raging river, right up from the depths of my being and I grabbed him and began to sob.... Not meaning to of course, but so relieved and Praising God he was home and in my arms again, I guess I embarassed the heck out of him. Dad too broke down and Cody stayed in Military mode, standing tall, holding us both up..... When we reached the airport parking lot, neither myself or Cody realized it, but dad's sugar level was bottoming out rapidly from the overwhelming emotions of seeing Cody again.. We took a very short very bogus ride on the Reno freeway, God is soooooo good and we were spared any harm then we made it to McDonalds where we got him sugar and the rest of the trip home was all a blessing...... Yeeeehawww.....

She is a treasure, a wonderful Christian young gal, mother and wife. She too has brittle diabetes, but it doesn't stop her from serving and praising God in all things. She was so relieved to see her brother back from Iraq, even if it is for only two weeks...

Of course a major part of the family took our man Cody to the Natural Artesian Keough Hot Springs pool (just 10 minutes south of Bishop) for rest and relaxation. During this time, mom (Goofy me) was coming up with a plan for fun and adventure for the weekend. After everyone was totally exhausted, I popped the question to Cody "Which would be most fun to you, going to Los Angeles and Orange County to either Knotts Berry Farm or Disneyland and Medieval Knights Dinner Theater, OR, renting ATV's and going on a back road adventure in to the high mountains? The following will show his answer....YEEEDOGGIES......

Getting the most out of life, thats what its all about, especially as a family... Always remember, a family that plays together, stays together and we are not an alcohol drinking family sooooo, the only time we get hurt is when we are just plain having WAY TOO MUCH FUN AND FORGET TO BE CAREFUL......
